Unemployment is at its lowest since August 2007, and job gains continued to be strong in November, coming in at 178,000, in line with this year’s average of 180,000. However, wage growth backtracked, with a surprise 0.1 percent drop in average hourly wages, compared with expectations of a 0.2 percent gain.
+ve job gains and -ve wage growth both make a case for fed to raise Interest rates, Let us wait and see if it happens in 2017.
Rising interest rates might result in slight pullback in stock market but will definitely have positive impact on economy overall.
